Refund and Cancellation Policy

Hexkit Cobot Lab sign-ups on this site go through theCoderSchool Irvine's registration page, and the Hexkit waitlist is how families hear about other Hexkit dates. Joining the Hexkit waitlist does not charge you. The rules below apply after a workshop date is confirmed and tuition has been paid.

If a session is under the minimum

If a session is under the minimum registration by a set deadline before the session, it may be combined with another session. Except as described below, the family may move to another session, take a credit, or get a full refund.

Signed waiver

No student joins the live cell without a signed waiver. If a confirmed place is cancelled because the waiver is not back 1 day before class, tuition is refunded. The dates below are for when you cancel. A missing waiver is separate from those windows.

If you cancel

• Cancel 14 or more days before your session: full refund.
• Cancel 7-13 days before: 50% refund, or free transfer to a later session.
• Cancel fewer than 7 days before: tuition is non-refundable, but transfers once to a later session free of charge.
• If we cancel a session, the family gets a full refund, including any fees. A removal described below is not a cancelled session.
• No-shows without notice are non-refundable.

To request a refund, email hello@hexkitacademy.com with subject "Refund - [student first name] - [session date]", or call (949) 414-4022. Refunds go to the original payment method within 10 business days.

Safety removal

If we remove a student from a session for a safety violation or for not following the posted rules or an instructor's directions, no refund, credit or transfer is given for that session, except as required by law. We will tell the parent by phone or email at the time.
